Ajit S Vaze is a Perfumer with S.H.Kelkar & Co. Pvt. Ltd. He is a member of the Vaze-Kelkar family who are the promoters of the company.

S.H.Kelkar & Co. Pvt. Ltd. is a leader in the industrial fragrance business in India. With sales of over $ 50 million and exports to over 40 countries , the company is the largest Indian owned F&F house.

Ajit Vaze heads the Indian fragrances business unit and is responsible for sales of $ 30 million. Over the last decade, his leadership has seen the business grow almost 5 fold, with a double-digit gain in market share. He is also a successful perfumer with several important market leaders in the cosmetics, agarbatti and soap markets being fragranced by his creations.

Ajit Vaze is a postgraduate (MSc) in Organic Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Mumbai). He has also attended several short-term management courses and has been a practicing perfumer for 2 decades. He is at present the President of the Fragrance and Flavor Association of India (FAFAI), the apex industry body of the F&F industry in India. He is also appointed by the GoI on the board of FFDC, Kannauj.
