Dr. Anantha Narayana, is an M.Pharm from Saugar University (MP) and holds a PhD from Delhi University. He taught pharmacy for a total of 10 years, at Saugar University, Hamdard College of Pharmacy, and College of Pharmacy, Delhi Administration. (now DIPAS). He later went to work for Pharma Industry .He has worked in QA , Analytical development dept, Factory Management, Formulation development as well as regulatory affairs at Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd for over 10 years, including a 2.5 years stint at RLL, Nigeria. He later joined Dabur Research Foundation (DRF) as a Manager R&D and rose to become its Director, a premier research organization which he built and nurtured for over 12 years. He is credited for the phenomenal growth of Dabur during his tenure as research head and led a team of researchers to develop for launch anti-cancer drugs, Ayurvedic drugs, cosmetics, food products, honey and a large number of herbal products built with science and technology. Many herbal cosmetics were developed by his group, including the famous brand VATIKA hair oil.
